For Australia day this year we had some good friends over and we enjoyed a Michigan winter's day outside. It snowed a lot, but the fire was lovely and warm and the kids had fun.

Rolling Hills Park

So we woke up in 2008 to a winter wonderland and we thought we would make the most of it... so here we are sledding and building the first snowman this year on our street... :)

New Year's Eve drinks and dinner at the Gelwix's. We had fun playing a trivia type game and watched the Wedding Singer for the 50th time! Laughed and sang and drank... very funny! Finished off with a walk in freshly fallen snow home... :) What a lovely way to welcome 2008
