For Australia day this year we had some good friends over and we enjoyed a Michigan winter's day outside. It snowed a lot, but the fire was lovely and warm and the kids had fun.
i happened upon your blog while googling "australia day." I am the barman at Cranberries Cafe' in Goodrich, Michigan. We had a fantastic Australia Day celebration in '08. About 35 Aussies came from all over Michigan. We had a five-course Australian wine dinner, authentic Aussie food including Aussie burgers and pavlova. This year we are trying to line up live music as well. Any interest in attending? Saturday, January 24
HI. We are an Australian family living and working in Michigan USA. We have been here since Christmas 2004 and are having a great time. Our son was born here in Ann Arbor. The summers are wonderful so here is a blog of ours this year!
